According to Plato, Socrates described how most humans see reality like shadows on the cave wall, never turning around to see the real people and objects casting the shadows on the wall. During isolation from the covid pandemic, I found pleasure in watching the shadowy images flickering on my cave wall. I never found a need to turn around to see the source of the shadows. Reality is overrated.
